Their combined operation protects the computer against the intrusion of harmful programs.
Features:
*** Antivirus monitor, deeply embedded in the core of the Windows system, controls in the real time all the file operations. For that reason it is able to stop the activation of a virus in course of executing operations on the hard disk, floppy disk, CD/DVD or other carriers. The monitor, at the activation, checks whether in the computer memory there is a virus installed. If this is the case, the virus is removed.

Thanks to those functions, the user does not have to remember about the necessity to scan files attached to messages.
*** Automatic updater. The function of mks_update automatic update module is to provide the computer with the most recent virus definitions and mks_vir package elements on current basis. The program reacts to alerts published by the manufacturer the moment new threats emerge. After the Internet connection has been detected, the update process of the package starts. mks_update program allows to minimise the costs of Internet connections thanks to the mechanism of repository. In small networks only one workstation has to connect to the Internet in order to download the update elements. Other stations update the program through the local network from that station. After installing mks_update, the user can forget about the necessity of updating mks_vir software, since mks_update remembers about it.
*** Administration system. mks_administrator is an advanced administration system allowing to centrally control the update process and the operation of mks_vir program in corporate w networks.

Trojan Remover is designed to automatically remove malware (trojans, worms, adware, spyware, etc.) from a PC when standard anti-virus software has either failed to detect the malware or is unable to effectively eliminate it. It can also detect and disable/remove malware hidden using rootkit techniques.
The majority of Virus and Trojan scanners are well able to detect malicious files but are not very efficient in removing them if they have already been triggered. This enables it to detect objects that are hidden from the user and security software.

F-Secure BlackLight is able to correctly ignore non-malicious objects and alerts only on real rootkits, which makes it useful even for users without technical knowledge. It is also able to deal correctly with files that have been modified during the scanning process. This makes it possible to use it in the background without interrupting normal work.

Rootkits for Windows work in a different way and are typically used to hide malicious software from for example an antivirus scanner. Rootkits are typically not malicious by themselves but are used for malicious purposes by viruses, worms, backdoors and spyware. A virus combined with a rootkit produces what was known as full stealth viruses in the MS-DOS environment.

Vista Transformation Pack

Vista Transformation Pack will give to your Windows XP system the new and cool look of Microsoft's future operating system: Windows Vista. The pack changes most of the system icons, skins and toolbars and also adds new enhancements to your desktop such as a dock bar or a different system tray clock. It is free and does a great job of giving machine a look similar to Vista.

It does have uninstallation options in case you decide you want to get rid of it, so there really isn’t anything to lose. However, when you install the software it has to overwrite some system files (it modifies things like the boot screen) so Windows will prompt you stating that your system files have been changed. It will ask whether you want to change them back or leave them, so just leave them if you want the system to function properly.

Merry Christmas! Now the waiting is over. This release has successfully archived full setup integration support (no more experimental) and add covering on x64 partial support (experimental).
